Chef Valentina Rasà

For Valentina Rasà, a Catanese chef, it was the great family passion for cooking, traditional Sicilian dishes, and good food, that was the driving force behind her adventure into food and wine.
And in 2010, the home cooking and catering service “Cucina Manipura” was born – the name, in Eastern culture, is the Chakra linked to the stomach and food, understood as nourishment for the soul and a means for taking care of people.

Her passion for cooking, and recipes prepared with raw materials chosen from among local excellences, has developed over the years thanks to her commitment, study, and research, starting from traditional cuisine to then embracing vegetarian, vegan and free from cuisines, paying particular attention to the nutritional aspect of dishes.

To add to her accomplishments, Valentina obtained the title of Sommelier Fisar

In 2021 was born Enjoy Sicily with the mission of promoting products made in Sicily, experimental tourism , cooking class and Catering services for Wedding destination.
